Tots 2-6 Soccer with Sign Language
This course goes over listening skills, balancing, ball skills and foot-eye coordination, while also incorporating American Sign Language (ASL). By having children learn a visual language like ASL it reinforces their knowledge of the English language. Learning ASL has proven to stimulate the brain and why not learn the third most used language in the country while learning the worlds most popular sport. Children that know ASL can communicate through signs before they are able to speak. By using sign language in this six week course we are creating an equal opportunity for children that are deaf, don't speak and any child that uses sign language.
