3v3 Summer League

In The Net Soccer is excited to announce a one of a kind 3v3 Summer Soccer League for those players looking to continuing playing over the summer months and improving their skills.

Why 3v3:

This contemporary soccer format is the “cutting edge” of developing skill and teaching young players the fundamentals of the world’s most popular sport. Many communities in the United States and abroad have embraced this small-sided style of play for recreation leagues and competitive tournaments. The United States Soccer Federation (USSF) also endorses the 3 v 3. The small numbers allow for more playing time, players to have more touches on the ball and more success in attempting to dribble, pass and shoot without a large number of players restricting the time and space. The three-player teams also allow for the fundamental “triangle shape” essential to teaching young players depth and width in the game of soccer.

Set-Up:

  • 2, 25 min. halves – No Goalies
  • 6 wks – 1 game per week (week 6 is a 1 day knock-out seeded playoff)

College Bound

In The Net’s College Bound program was established in 2014 to provide High School players a unique and awesome opportunity to be seen by top college recruiters right in their own backyard. Players will be able to show off their talents in showcase-like format to college coaches from around the northeast and throughout the nation. Don’t miss out on this amazing event as spots are limited!

Who:
Current Freshman – Seniors only
Registration is on an Individual and/or Team basis

When:

tba

Where:

tba

Format:
7v7 with Goalies

How It Works:
Players are placed on “light” teams of no more than 14 to ensure optimal play time and will play 2 full length games in front of recruiters. Player’s are teamed up with others from throughout the area and will be coached by collegiate athletes or current high school coaches.

This is a TRUE Showcase event – Only 2 games are played at a time on adjacent fields.  This provides for the perfect recruiting platform as the coaches and recruiters are in between the fields focused solely on the 2 games.

Player bio’s will be given out to all college coaches highlighting GPA, SAT scores, academic & athletic honors, academic interests, jobs, organizations, references, etc.

Fee:
Single: $125/player (includes jersey)
Team (min. of 8, max 14): $1500 (includes jersey)
